The face of our breeding nursery is the animals breeded by it!

The breeding nursery "CAMUS"(Camus — from French is turned up (nose)).

A little, flaming red sun. Clumsy, funny "dumpling" with short legs and amazingly flat, ( for that remote period of time and for our fresh perception ) "face".Our darling "unitor", "maker laugh", "conciliator". Our wise psychologist and careful hearth keeper — our first typical Persians cat Basya (dear nosy, for the present is already 12 years old "virus") who was bought by "convinced dogs fonders" denying the presence of any signs of intellect in the representatives of cat family, not for the breeding but for joy, for soul.

How naive we were...

This "innocent joy" has not appeared to be so harmless as we planed. "Soul" went to marry to Moscow (it is quite understandable that a worthy fiance could not be found in the capital of Ukraine). Kittens were changed for nothing...

Then, refusing many living needs we had to "send for" foreign fiance. That was the beginning...

1994 — present Gr. Premior, and then 4,5 months old winner in the kitten class of three European exhibitions( Italy, France, Germany) Kitkiss Ice Dancer, PER w 62 - the first animal which was bought by us in "Lannanza's" cattery (breeder — Sonja Korngieber) for that time purposefully for breeding.

1995 — Kitkiss Ice Dancer — Best of Best — the Best animal of the exhibition, awarded with journey to Germany for participation in International Cats Exhibition by the Ukrainian representative of "Mars" company. Kitkiss (at home — Sherry — soul joy!) appeared to a great luck for our nursery. Marvelous representative of the kind, the cat with a great nature of tender and loving child later on brought us worthy kids, solid and smoky colours, later on repeated winners and participants of Best in Show.

During four exhibitions one after another Read Tabby male Camus Jylien (PER d 22), the son of "Soul" and Sherry the repeated Best of Best, the repeated winner of International Exhibitions. The best cat in Ukraine as the resume of "Assoluks" (1997). His cream smoke brother Camus Janti (PER es) and sister, afterwards next generation follows that way. The winners of exhibitions in Kiev, Odessa, Summy, Poltava, Nikolaev, Herson, Zaporozje and many others cities of Ukraine.

From the result of the work with the animals which were brought later ( Ferrari's High Society, PER f, CFA 0147- 1031908 "Ferrarii's" cattery ( Simone Luckas); Lannanza's Soft Toy, PER f, CFA 0147- 1140640, "Lannanza's" cattery ( Aimuth Morali); Puffstuf Black Star, EXO n CFA 7508- 1159260, "Puffstuf" cattery (Larissa Voronina), Cniss-Bits Boris Becker, RCC 97320, PER d 22, "Cniss-Bits" cattery ( Sabine Wolf) and others, appeared the next generation of "Camus" cattery representatives:

• the winner of Kishinev exhibition "MFA", the repeated best exotic cat of the exhibition — the Black Exotic Camus Antyan Black Star, EXO n;
• Cats — G.E.CH Camus Silvia, PER ns, G.I.CH Camus Ketti PER ns and others;
• Best of Best Junior X and XI exhibitions FIFe Bicolor — Camus Caprize Soft Toy, PER a 03, (Opposite Sex — his sister — from one brood Camus Aquarell Soft Toy, PER g 03);
• The winner of XII exhibition FIFe female NWU., E. CH WCF. Camus Anabel, EXO ns, later the repeated winner of exhibitions ( Kiev, Nycolaev, Xerson);
• 1 Best Kitten of the season 1998-99, in the result of exhibitions of Ukraine — G.E.CH Camus Valentino Soft Toy PER d 22 ( the second best was his sister — from one brood G.E.CH Camus Vitni Soft Toy, PER d22) and many others.
• A littlr bit after that, Read Tabby Camus Valentino Soft Toy was conferred the rank of NWU, he became the best adult animal of 2000, in the result of Allukrainian Championship of thoroughbred cats 2000, which was held by Feline Alliance of Ukraine — FAU, and candidate to the champion of the World (WCF).
• The second best animal became his sister againe — Vitni.
• The fourth animal of the year G.E.CH.NWU. Camus Inokentiy Ferarys, EXO a — Blue Exotic cat, and many others.
• The best junior 2000, the repeated winner of many exhibitions of different levels — Black Exotic Camus Lucky Cherry Soft toy, EXO n.
• The best shorthair animal, the second animal XII CFF Show in Russia in the frames of cup HILL'S-2001- CH.CFF.G.I.CH.WCF. Camus Evelin, EXO f;
• the sixth place — CH.CFF. G.CH. WCF. NWU. Camus Godsend Melissa Soft Toy, PER f22.
• Camus Sandi Soft Toy, Camus Triksi, Camus Lucia Ferarys and others successfully continue their exhibition and breed career in Italy and Germany.

For the present "overfermented" in the process of selection work, were united so the offsprings of respectful lines of breeding nurseries as: Lannanza, Marchei, Bar-B, Lorant, Mistichill, Midas, Jovan, Speiibound, Cniss-Bits, Debonair, Anz, Puffstuff, Kikicat's and others.

The result is what we have from the thorough selection of three-fife generations of animals — the "face" of breeding Camus Cattery.

And though we've got the same very long way of perfection before us, we are sure that their nice, with big eyes faces are worthy your pleasant smile right now.

Nevertheless, now a new typhoon has fallen upon our breeding nursery Camus. Camus is involved in a new interest — Persians Bi-color. We hope that on the base of already fixed by many generations breeding nursery, we can give pleasure for the fonders of Persian and Exotic kinds with charming Bi-colors.
